This blog is not the manuscript, just a few examples from, if the real story ever finds its place in the world, I would like it to give something back.
For that reason, 20% of any eventual profits from this memoir will be donated to organizations that support people struggling with coming out and questions of identity.
I believe sexual orientation is not a choice. For many years, especially growing up in another time and system, these conversations were often surrounded by silence, fear, or misunderstanding. Looking back now, I realize how much it would have meant to simply speak openly with someone who understood.
If sharing my story can help even one person feel less alone, then this book has already achieved something meaningful beyond itself.
